Relaxed, bespoke wedding and baby photography

About me Heather Photography

Hey you lovely person you! Come and check out some more info on me!

So this is all about me, Heather Photography. My name is Heather (I’m the one on the right up there), and the guy on the left is my other half, Alex.

I live on Dartmoor with Alex, and my two fur babies Woody and Sir Stanley Tippington- or Tips for short. Woody is the wimpiest spaniel you will ever meet, and Tips is the toughest cat around! That’s Woody down there looking very tidy…… he’s normally much muddier than that!

About me Heather Photography

So what am I like as a photographer?

I have been a wedding photographer for 5 years now and before that I actually worked in administration. I had no real plans to leave my previous job, but I was incredibly lucky that I have managed to turn my passion for photography and weddings into a career! Although I am based in Devon, I travel all over to capture weddings for couples; and I feel incredibly honoured that couples trust me with capturing one of the most important days of their lives.

My goal as wedding photographer is to ensure that not only do you have an amazing wedding, and feel relaxed; but also that I capture the people, emotions and details of your wedding, so you can look back and relive the day. Making people smile, laugh and cry through my photos is the main aim!

I would say that 95% of the photos that I take are documentary, no posing, no forcing couples to “look longingly into each others eyes”; just relaxed, natural and fun! I love working with couples to create memories that will last them a lifetime. If you do need direction however, I do have a few tricks up my sleeve to try and get those natural looking photos.

What else is there…..? It’s always really awkward to talk about yourself, so have popped down some “interesting” facts about me, so you can get to know me a bit more!

I was once sick on a great white shark…..yes you read that correctly. Sick. On a great white shark.

I love elephants. LOVE THEM.

Cheese is the single greatest food invention – the stronger that cheddar the better.

I have trekked to Everest Base Camp. It was cold. And amazing. You must do it.

Silly I know, but it’s nice to know a little bit more about the person who might be lurking around your wedding with a camera!

Now that I have given you some little facts about me, why not
get in contact and let me know what you are after!
